Who are we?

The East African Human Rights Institute (EAHRI) is a limited liability company and profit- making human rights organization registered in the United Republic of Tanzania. The Institute was founded in 2020 by renowned human rights activists in East Africa. The firm is bestowed with the responsibility to broadly protect, monitor and promote human rights at local and regional levels through consultancy, research and human rights education. Our role encompasses research, analysis, archiving, human rights education and knowledge sharing.
