EAHRI team is composed of seasoned human rights lawyers & defenders, researchers, university researchers, medical practitioners, auditors, tax consultants, academia, policy and legal analyst, digital security specialist, and others who are conversant with relevant issue of human rights and CSOs management. EAHRI engages them based on specific activity solicited or to be procured depending on the area of their experts.

The training course is led by Dr Clement Mashamba and Adv. Onesmo Olengurumwa renowned human rights experts, with extensive teaching and practical experience on available human rights mechanisms at national, regional and international levels. Other Trainers and Researchers are Dr. Shedrack Jaba, Annemaria Mavenjina Mkalame, Adv Eliza Achielies etc. The institute uses human rights scholars and practitioners within and outside the region as trainers of these courses. Trainers will be engaged from EAHRI pool of trainers who have gained extensive and practical human rights expertise from various field of life such as CSOs/NGOs, Judiciary, Government, UN Human Rights Agencies, and academic institutions. EAHRI seeks to bring together academicians and practitioners to advance the culture of human rights in this sub-region.
